since leaving authors positive comments is all the rage right now, this is a catch-all feedback meme for all any of your favorite authors! want to compliment an author's writing in general, not just a specific fic? this is the place to do it!

anonymous commenting is on.

1. writers: leave a comment with your username, writing journal, comm, or ao3. please also mention if you'd like constructive criticism since concrit can be positive!

I found you via Scarlet Ribbons many many many years ago and to this day my memories of that fic are still so fond and vivid! I loved how full and fleshed-out the world felt, whether you were taking me into the Koneko or into Aya's dream world, and the characters all rang out so true to how I knew them that it was like coming home. I still go back to reread it sometimes. :') And I'm pretty sure it's one of the reasons I'm writing today; I feel like it found me at just the right time to light a fire in my mind, so thank you!

I wish you had signed this so I'd know who you are! I'm not sure if you'll ever check back to see this, but thank you! If you ever commented on SR or any of my stories before, you'd know how terrible I am at responding to comments. My responses are always awkward and incredibly inadequate in expressing my joy at receiving them or how much they mean to me. This goes double for SR, for very personal reasons. I am truly happy to know that someone out there still remembers it, and fondly. Every writer, without exception, is born from the work of other writers. I am incredibly honored you think I had any part in yours.
