Lark, you're an amazing writer who constructs worlds beyond anything I can imagine.
You've been one of my favorites for years, since I first dipped my toes into Free! fanfic.
You are truly a blessing, you really are.

You'll always be a writer I deeply admire, Lark! Everything about the way you write--the precise way you choose words, the way you never say more than you need to, the very evocative, incisive imagery you use, the nuanced ways you depict your characters--is just /HEARTEYES to me. And I have so much love for your process too, how you value doing the work in the face of all those pesky things a writer faces like laziness and imposter syndrome and insecurity and just Life Happening, how you trust that something you're happy with will come of it, how you treat your own writing with respect and quiet confidence, how you encourage others. You definitely inspire me always to write more and to write better.

<3,
Meg

I think I've told you this before, but you're the first writer who's made me learn how to read carefully and slowly and to really want to read like this—to savour every word and to urge my brain into being more than a passive reader. Your writing is so subtle yet so charged and vivid, with such strong messages and stories woven through the fabric of your words, and I am amazed every single time I read something you've written at how much you're able to say so succinctly. Your writing is tight, and rich, and sensual so far beyond just sight and sound. Sometimes your imagery literally takes my breath away for how original it is and how perfectly it captures a mood and a scene. You are superbly talented, and I admire your writing and your dedication to your craft very, very much.

lark hi lark i'm here to tell you you're amazing and there's something amazingly delicate but poignant about your word choice, the images you create (i'm still thinking about the blade kageyama thing U G H), the way you loop tiny little things into repeating motifs and the sheer amount of nuance you manage to pack into so few words. it's just stunning and i find myself going back to read and reread, and i find new things i never noticed in my previous read throughs (and also getting slain by a whole new load of feelings but that's irrelevant). the careful way you choose to portray characters, the sides you choose to show of them in each fic, how you let them carry the plot along (especially for bigger pieces like the sun still rises and rain, interrupted) is breathtaking.

another thing you do that i really admire is your openness to learning and to continue learning, because it shows in your writing. you're downright inspiring in your dedication to keep at this despite how difficult it can be, in the face of life and yourself. i don't think i tell you often enough how much i appreciate you as a writer (and i definitely do not leave you enough comments), but i do appreciate you, truly i do. <3

You have a way with words that I extremely adore--it just pulls the reader easily in and keep them in the entire fic. I really don't know how else I should describe your fics other than "insightful" and "beautiful", reading your proses is like watching flower petals scattered on the surface of water. You remain one of the writers I aspire to be :)

I've been trying to think what to say here for a few days but I don't think anything I say will be able to explain how inspiring I find your work. You have a way with words that it's so particular and so magical, and you make them work with such flow and with so many meanings, and the way you construct stories is always so vivid and alive and the fact that sometimes you do this is such short pieces is seriously amazing. I think the word I'm looking is compelling but also, beautiful in its prose and it's really inspiring the care you put to every word. I'm really glad I came across your writings and to be able to keep on reading your stories!

I couldn't leave you any crit anyway because your work is just so beautiful. You have a way with words which leaves me gasping, and it's clear you put effort into weighing up every phrase, but it reads 'effortless'. An exceptional skill, but then I believe you're an exceptional writer.
