Full confession: I had something much longer and more ambitious planned that ran into time constraints and a bit of fretting on my side because there already was a Finduilas-as-Gil-galad fic (the draft of which I still have in my files and am pondering to finish at some point), so this one was a bit of on-the-fly backstory exploration - something I'd had in my head for a long time and always wanted to write down, because I adore Anairë and Eärwen so much, and your letter gave me the perfect opportunity to do so! So, thank you for that as well, and for letting me shake out how I felt it might have gone - especially regarding the fact that they are sisters-in-law, something I might otherwise have glossed over. ^^ ♥
